An excellent marine radio that is tough and durable, the Uniden radio has triple watch features, DSC capabilities, a selection of international marine channels, and S.A.M.E Weather Alert and is JIS4/IPX4 that is water-resistant against damage from rain or splashing water.
The UM385 is ready for on-board installation and may transmit at 1 or 25 watts on the US, Canadian, and international marine channels including the new 4-Digit, and the Canadian “B” channels to keep you safe at sea from the unknown as well as to get you out of dangerous seas by alerting you when a storm is approaching and transmitting your location if you want assistance.Â
